You have always known how to adapt. How to read a room, shift your accent, become whoever the moment needed you to be. Third Culture Kids (TCKs) often call this chameleon-ing - the ability to blend into any environment, to match your colors to your surroundings. You got very good at belonging everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
That adaptability is a gift but it is also exhausting. And it can leave you with a quiet, persistent question underneath everything else: who am I underneath all the adapting?
This work is for the part of you that is ready to stop asking that question in the dark - and start exploring it with someone who understands it from the inside.
You grew up between cultures - moving countries, switching schools, learning to start over - and belonging has never been a simple thing.
You feel most yourself in the in-between: airports, transitions, conversations with people who have also lived across worlds.
You struggle to answer “Where are you from?” without it becoming complicated.
You’ve built a life that looks settled from the outside, but something underneath still feels unresolved - like there are parts of yourself you haven’t fully met yet.
You code-switch fluently and often, and sometimes wonder which version of you is the real one.
You carry more than one culture, more than one language, more than one version of home - and the weight of that is something most people in your life don’t quite understand.
You are not broken. But you are ready to stop carrying this particular kind of complexity alone.
May be a better fit if you are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, or significant mental health symptoms that need clinical support - or if you want to do deeper healing work around attachment wounds, grief, or relational patterns.
Because therapy is regulated by state licensure, I can only see therapy clients located in Washington.
Is a good fit if you are generally functioning well but feel stuck, are navigating an identity shift or major transition, want a dedicated space to explore your TCK experience, and are ready to do reflective, forward-moving work.
Coaching is available to adults anywhere in the world.
This is a genuinely useful question and worth thinking through together.
We work with the parts of you that were shaped by movement, adaptation, and cultural complexity. We make space for the grief that often lives underneath the resilience - for the homes that were left, the selves that were set aside, the belonging that was always just slightly out of reach.
We also work forward. Toward clarity about who you are outside of context and role. Toward a more integrated sense of self that doesn’t require you to leave pieces of yourself behind depending on the room you’re in. Toward feeling at home in yourself - not as a destination, but as an ongoing, livable experience.
This work is informed by my clinical training and shaped by my own lived experience as a multiracial adult TCK and immigrant. I know this territory. Not just professionally - personally.
For those who want a dedicated space to think something through - a specific decision, transition, or moment of feeling stuck.
A single session is also a natural way to get a feel for this work before committing to something longer.
Two sessions per month on an ongoing basis, for as long as feels useful.
A consistent, ongoing container for those who want regular support without a fixed endpoint - particularly well suited for clients who are in the middle of a longer transition or want to maintain momentum after completing a flagship package.
Eight sessions to be used at whatever pace works for you, within a four month period.
This is the most sustained offering, designed for those ready to do real identity work and want enough time and continuity to actually get somewhere. We’ll move through your history, your patterns, and your questions about self and belonging with intention and care. This is not a quick fix. It is a real beginning.

A quick note on scheduling: I am based just outside of Seattle, Washington, and work with clients across multiple time zones. Before committing to any package, we’ll make sure our schedules can realistically align for both of us. This is always part of the initial conversation.
I came to the United States at 17. I have lived in different countries, in three distinct places, and navigated the particular kind of loneliness that comes with never quite being fully from anywhere. I'm multiracial, bilingual, and have spent most of my adult life in the productive but sometimes exhausting work of figuring out which parts of myself belong where.
I didn't always have language for what that experience was. Finding the TCK framework, and finding community within it, changed something for me. It gave shape to something I had been carrying without a name.
That's part of what I want to offer here. Not answers or a fixed map, but a space where your particular kind of complexity is not just tolerated but viewed as the whole point.
A Third Culture Kid, or TCK, is someone who grew up spending significant time outside of their parents’ home culture during their formative years - often due to a parent’s work, military service, or other circumstances that required international relocation.
The "third culture" part refers to the blended identity that results: not fully the culture of their passport or their parents' background, and not fully the culture(s) they grew up in either, but something in between that they and other TCKs often relate to more than either one alone. It can show up as a strong sense of adaptability and cross-cultural fluency, alongside a less tangible sense of rootlessness or the question "where is home, really?"
Coaching is forward-focused, goal-oriented, and does not require a clinical license. It is a space for reflection, identity exploration, and intentional movement toward a more integrated sense of self but is not a substitute for mental health treatment. If you are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, or other clinical concerns, therapy is likely the more appropriate fit.
Because therapy is regulated by state licensure, I can only see therapy clients located in Washington. Coaching, however, is available to adults anywhere in the world.
Absolutely. The TCK lens is very much part of how I work therapeutically, and if you are a Washington-based adult TCK looking for clinical support, therapy may be the right fit.
