Some part of you has never felt like it fully added up. Maybe you move between worlds that don't quite fit together, cultures, languages, versions of yourself for different rooms. Maybe a major change reorganized you. Immigration, motherhood, loss. Maybe you carry more than one racial or cultural identity and have never felt wholly at home in any single one.
What connects these experiences is a quiet sense of being divided. Of managing a self that feels scattered, or of having drifted from who you thought you were.
That's the work I care about most. Not just managing symptoms, but helping you make sense of a fragmented sense of self. You don't need to arrive with a diagnosis or a crisis. You just need to be ready to stop holding all of it on your own.
Therapy is never one size fits all, but these are a few areas I specialize in:
You have a sense that something is getting in the way, either in your relationships, your work, your sense of self, but you’re not sure exactly what or why.
You’ve been through a lot of change, loss, or transition and feel less like yourself than you used to.
You grew up between cultures, or carry more than one identity, and belonging has never been a simple thing.
You're fluent at adapting but underneath you're not always sure which version of you is the real one.
You’re ready to do the work, even if you’re not sure where to start.
Hold your complexity with less exhaustion and less apology
Feel less like a stranger to your own inner world
Begin to feel more like one integrated self, rather than a different version for every room
Understand the patterns you've been living inside of in a way that actually shifts how you move through your life
Reach out through my contact form and share a bit about what brings you in. I’ll be in touch with next steps and options for moving forward.
We’ll talk through what feels most present for you, I’ll share a little about how I work, and we’ll figure out together whether and how to move forward.
We’ll talk about what feels most present for you, what you’re hoping for, and whether working together feels like a good fit.
We start with what’s taking up the most space and build from there. The process is collaborative, and it moves at your pace.
I recommend meeting weekly for at least the first two months. This gives us enough time to build a full picture of what brings you in, establish trust, and create the foundation that meaningful therapy requires. After that, we can revisit the cadence together based on your needs, goals, and circumstances. That said, I take into account both the nature of what you’re working on and your unique situation - so if weekly isn’t possible from the start, we can talk through what makes sense.
Relational, curious, and collaborative. I’m not going to hand you a workbook or a list of coping strategies and send you on your way. My interest is in understanding you - what shapes you, what drives you, what gets in the way - and working alongside you to make sense of it.
Sessions can feel like a conversation, and often go to places you might not have expected. I bring my full attention, genuine curiosity, and a willingness to go wherever the work needs to go. I also bring my own perspective when it’s useful. We are in it together.
My approach is relational at its core, which means the relationship between us is not just the backdrop for the work, it is part of the work. I pay attention to what happens between us in the room as much as what you bring into it.
Attachment theory looks at how our earliest relationships shape the way we connect, protect ourselves, and make sense of who we are. And I am trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) - a model that understands us as made up of many different parts, each with its own perspective, history, and way of trying to protect us. IFS offers a remarkably compassionate way of understanding the inner conflicts that can feel so hard to untangle on your own.
These aren’t rigid frameworks I apply to everyone. They’re lenses I bring to the work - alongside genuine curiosity about you, your history, and what this particular season of your life is asking of you.
That depends entirely on what you're bringing in and what you're hoping for. Some people come with something specific they want to work through and are ready to move on after a few months. Others find that the work opens up in ways they didn't expect and want to keep going.
I don't operate with a fixed endpoint in mind - we'll check in regularly on how things are feeling and what makes sense to do next.
